Here at Anchorage, we work with our customers closely. We do so to ensure satisfaction and functionality by offering a variety of products to meet your style and budget.
We use classic materials like marine-grade, pressure treated lumber, and exotic hardwoods. One of our more popular products, such as WearDeck, are leaders in the man made decking industry.
Their ability to weather the harsh SWFL climate makes them excellent choices for your dock needs. Not to mention, the color variety and size options allow for a plethora of creative dock design possibilities.
WearDeck: Reinforced Polymeric Decking
No wood – Because WearDeck contains no wood, it’s not susceptible to water damage, rot, mold, mildew or insect infestation. Plus, no risk of splinters! WearDeck can even be installed underwater and is rated for ground contact.
Stronger and lighter weight – No need to worry about bouncy decks or weak composite boards. WearDeck has the highest live load rating in the industry. Our 5/4×6 board supports 120 pounds per square foot at 24 inches on center. While most competing boards can only support 100 pounds per square foot at 16 inches on center, WearDeck supports 266 pounds per square foot at that spacing. Although WearDeck weighs less than many composite boards, it actually adds to the structural stability of a project, requires no additional framing and won’t bend or sag.
Board Appearance – WearDeck includes a 25-year UV package to minimize fading. Because our boards are made of HDPE, they are not damaged by sunscreen or bug spray and resist food oils and stains more effectively than other composite decking. Our boards come in eight colors with a wood grain finish for a non-slip surface.

Board Temperature – All of our boards reflect heat to reduce surface temperatures by 30 percent. This year, WearDeck introduced two new colors that are designed to be safe and comfortable for bare feet in extreme heat. Our Barefoot Collection includes Barefoot Sand and Barefoot Grey, toned-down shades of two of our most popular colors. Both colors are ideal for projects exposed to harsh sunlight and high foot traffic like beach walkovers.
LESS WASTE – Custom cuts
LESS LABOR – Less labor time on the chop saw to give you more time for more jobs
MORE SAVINGS – Use less stringers spanning our 5/4×6 24” OC with a live load rating of 120lbs per sqft
When using composite decking, people are spending the extra money because they want a trustworthy product that will last with easy maintenance and a lifetime guarantee. WearDeck designed it’s lumber to be a very cost-effective option for all cliental who want just that. If this product can withstand the harsh Florida heat, powerful hurricanes, and saltwater it will work very well in any environment.

Wood can still be considered the ‘king’ of decking materials because of its durability and economic advantage. These natural wood products include: pressure treated, including square edge and radius, or a hardwood such as Ipe.
Marine Deck is an optimal choice when only true wood will do. Formed from high quality #1 grade dense 2×6 Southern Yellow Pine, Dense Select Structural, or #1 Prime, Marine Deck is guaranteed to be both attractive and durable.
Marine Deck boards feature a water repellant treatment for added protection in all marine environments. Each plank is treated with copper azole type C(CA-C) to lengthen lifespan and protect against rot, fungal decay, and termite damage. This treatment also make Marine Deck suitable for ground contact!
Marine Deck is an eye-catching and affordable lumber choice for decks, docks, and boardwalks. Planks are available in 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, and 20 foot increments.
